As a required component of the curriculum, residents participate in
a class retreat each year. The Duluth Family Medicine Residency
Program provides an all-expenses paid weekend at one of the
area's major resorts. There is a structured program to address issues of residency stress and achieving a healthy balance in life that is facilitated by members of the faculty and lots of time to enjoy the resort's recreational activities.
