Interview

Interviewing will begin October 17, 2011 and end January 31, 2012

The Admissions Committee reviews all applications submitted to the program.  Qualified applicants will receive an invitation to visit us for an interview.  November and December fill early; please consider scheduling in October.

The interview process is conducted by faculty and residents of the program.  You will have many opportunities to meet and visit with residents throughout the day.  Your spouse or significant other is encouraged to accompany you and participate in your interview.

Applicants and their guests are invited to attend a dinner get-together hosted by residents and their families.  This is a unique opportunity to visit with residents in a relaxed, informal setting.

For out-of-town applicants, the program offers complementary overnight accommodations at the Inn on Lake Superior in beautiful Canal Park.

The Admissions Committee, composed of faculty, residents, and community physicians, reviews all completed applications submitted to the program.  The committee carefully considers all the information it has on each qualified applicant.  In addition to the required supporting documentation, the committee values the chance to review USMLE Step 2 or COMPLEX-USA Level 2 results as well as publications, undergraduate transcripts and letters of reference from employers and physicians.
